Austurey Cottages Photography in Iceland
Austurey Cottages is a set of 6 brand new cottages that have been built with privacy and unobstructed views of Lake Apavatn and surrounding mountains. All of these identical cottages accommodate 2 guests each with their own private bathroom and little patio with a BBQ. The cottages are a great place to see the northern lights in the winter and bird watch in the summer.
How To Get There:
Located 1 hour 20 minutes from Reyjkavik and located to the east of Thingvellir National Park. From Reykjavik you will head north east out of the city for signs towards Thingvellir. Head east on Þingvallavegur toward Brávellir, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Route 37. After 2.2km turn left onto Eyjavegur and Austurey Cottages will be on your left.

There is no one that will meet you onsite. Guests will recieve an email with special check-in instructions and lockbox information.
